Thailand-Taiwan Biotechnology Forum and B2B Meeting

On 25-26 September 2006, BIOTEC hosted the visit of delegates from Taiwan, consisting of delegates from Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and private companies. The main objective of the event is to promote Thailand as a venue for biotechnology R&D business collaboration. The delegates had an opportunity to meet with senior management of BIOTEC, NSTDA and Thailand Science Park, and tour BIOTEC laboratories and biotech-related companies in Thailand Science Park.

The Thailand-Taiwan Biotechnology Forum and B2B Meeting was held on 26 September 2006.  The Forum comprised presentations on biotechnology in Thailand and in Taiwan and presentations by Thailand Board of Investment and Thai Food and Drug Administration. 

Taiwanese companies joining the mission are: PhytoHealth; Asia Hepato Gene Co.; Yeastern Biotech. Co., Ltd; Haichao Enterprise Corporation; U Chu Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd.; Willy Event Consultants Co., Ltd.
