BIOTEC leads Thai companies to Asia Business Partnering in Korea

BIOTEC organized a mission of ten Thai companies to participate in the “2007 Gangwon Bio International Symposium & Asia Business Partnering”, held in Gangwon, Korea during 28 – 30 May 2007. The event was organized by Chuncheon Bioindustry Foundation (CBF Korea) in collaboration with three partners -- Dalian Hi-Tech Industrial Zone Productivity Center (China), Kurume Research Park (Japan) and BIOTEC (Thailand). The event provided a great opportunity to introduce BIOTEC and Thai companies to biotech companies from Korea, Japan, China and Australia.  


CBF2BIOTEC together with CBF, Dalian Hi-Tech Industrial Zone Productivity Center (China) and Kurume Research Park (Japan) signed a 2007 Common Declaration of Asia Biotechnology Industry Leaders to promote business collaboration in Asia’s biotechnology community.  BIOTEC also announced the hosting of the next Asia Business Partnering in BioAsia 2007 Thailand during 7-9 November 2007 in Bangkok. 

In conjunction with this event, BIOTEC and CBF signed a 3-year collaborative MOU to promote cooperation between the member companies of both associations to ultimately materialize the growth and development of the bio-venture enterprises of both nations.
