On 23 July 2007, HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the Royal Opening of "A T. rex Named Sue & Thai Dinosaurs" at National Science Museum (NSM). A T. rex named "Sue", on loan from the Field Museum in Chicago, USA, is displayed with other Thai dinosaur fossils in Thailand from July 7 to September 30 at NSM.
Sue has visited 40 places around the world. For her Asian tour, she has been to 4 cites in Japan (1.2 million people saw her), Singapore Science Center, 2 cities in Taiwan, and now Bangkok. In thailand, this expo was created and supported by the collaboration of The Biodiversity Research and Training Program (BRT), National Science Musuem and PTT Public Company Limited.
