BIOTEC hosts the Thai – Indian Joint Seminar on Plant Molecular Biology and Plant Genomics

On 24-25 April 2008, BIOTEC hosted the visit of Indian delegation to promote bilateral research collaboration between Thai and Indian scientists in the field of plant molecular biology and plant genomics. This activity supported the Program of Cooperation (PoC), signed between the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India and BIOTEC in 2003 aiming to promote, develop and facilitate co-operative activities in the filed biotechnology on the basis of common interest and mutual benefit.


The program consisted of a scientific seminar to provide an overview and highlight on active research projects in plant molecular biology in India and Thailand, lab visit and discussion with Thai researchers.
