On 26 November 2008, Assoc. Prof. Milan Certik from Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU) paid a visit to BIOTEC to explore and discuss the opportunity for research collaboration on microbial research with BIOTEC researchers. On this occasion, MOU signing ceremony was held with Dr. Kanyawim Kirtikara, BIOTEC Executive Director and Assoc. Prof. Certik representing BIOTEC and STU, respectively. The MOU would facilitate the exchange of students and research scientists as well as the joint activities between the two organizations.
