BIOTEC takes part in the Biotechnology Business Exchange (BBE) meeting in London

During 8-12 December 2008, Dr. Kanyawim Kirtikara, Executive Director of BIOTEC and Dr. Lily Eurwilaichitr, Director of Bioresources Technology, were invited by the British Embassy in Bangkok and the International Agri-Technology Centre Ltd (IATC), to attend the Biotechnology Business Exchange (BBE) 2008 and a study tour to research institutes in the UK. The trip aimed to promote research and business collaboration between BIOTEC and institutes in the UK. It also created opportunities for BIOTEC to share and learn about best practices of research management in the UK. The study tour included the visit and meeting with the UK Parliamentary and Scientific Committee, The Royal Society, CABI (The Centre for Agricultural Bioscience International), the University of Cambridge, John Innes Centre, Institute of Food Research and Plant Bioscience Ltd.
