Challenging competition on the 2009 Young Thai IP Law Ambassador Award

BIOTEC, along with the Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court (IP&IT Court) and True Visions, joined the British Council Thailand officially announced the 2009 Young Thai IP Law Ambassador Award on 28 October 2009 at the IP&IT Court. The award aims to raise awareness of the legal and cultural issues regarding Intellectual Property (IP) among young generations, including create an informal network for university law students and promote UK as a country with experience and knowledge of IP laws.
The Young Thai IP Law Ambassadors will be selected after two rounds of competition, comprising essays on “Mankind is Destined to Uphold the Inviolability of Intellectual Property Rights." with a maximum 1,000 words and a moot competition on “IP and Rice Research” in a real court room.
The winning team will receive a two week, all expenses paid study visit to the UK, a work attachment at a leading law firm, and a trophy from the Supreme Court as well as cash to a total value of THB 25,000.
