Thailand LAB International 2016

BIOTEC-NSTDA, participated in the 6th Thailand LAB which was hold on 21-23 September 2016 at BITEC, Bangkok. The exhibition aims to push forward and highlight the latest laboratory research, innovations, and technology to potential industrial sectors. This will lead to further business development and investment opportunities.


At the fair, BIOTEC presented technical services in biotechnology and introducing Food Feed Innovation Center. The center was officially opened in April 2016, with the goal to collaborate with the food and feed entrepreneurs, to develop innovation as well as to enhance Thailand’s strengths and competitiveness in food and feed industries.


The remarkable licensed products which were displayed at the exhibition include:

  • Starter culture for traditional fermented pork sausage (Nham), the development of both liquid and powder starter cultures that helps producing fermented sausages with pleasant flavor and aroma as well as safety guarantee for customers.
  • Value-added eggshell waste, the innovation that turns eggshell and its membrane into biological calcium tablet and collagen powder respectively.
