BIOTEC enters into an MOU with Eco Scientific to develop electrochemical sensors
On 21 February 2012, BIOTEC signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Eco Scientific Co., Ltd., a leading supplier of test kits and instruments in various sectors such as agriculture, aquaculture, aquarium, educational, industrial water treatment, pool & spa, pond, food & beverage, municipal and healthcare.This 3-year collaboration starts from 2012 to 2015. The partnership aims to develop electrochemical sensors in order to make this technology available for public and commercialization. Representing BIOTEC and Eco Scientific at the signing ceremony were Dr. Lily Eurwilaichitr, Director of Bioresources Technology Unit and Ms. Petcharin Ruamsuk, CEO of Eco Scientific, respectively.
