BIOTEC researcher wins L’Oreal Fellowship of Young Women in Science
Mrs. Wansika Kiatpathomchai, BIOTEC researcher at the Center of Excellence for Shrimp Molecular Biology (Centex Shrimp), National Center Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), won Fellowship of Young Women in Science. Her research project entitles "Identification and characterization of Taura syndrome virus (TSV) carriers by RT-PCR and development of a new sampling procedure for shrimp haemolymph on filter paper, this causes disease in shrimp".
L’Oreal Thailand Company Limited Joint with Thai National Commission for Education, Science and United Nations Culture to organize ceremony to give fellowships at the “3rd Annual Fellowships for Women is Science” to 4 Women Science Researchers. The event took place at the Issaravinitchai Palace National Museum-Phanakron and was presided over by Her Royal Highness Princess Ubolratana.
