About us
The Agricultural Biotechnology Research Unit aligns with the national and NSTDA’s goals to strengthen the country’s agriculture industry through the implementation a number of biotechnology initiatives leading to the development of new technologies to help drive the country’s agriculture sector. Our research focuses on plant and animal biotechnology, with a special emphasis on using biotechnology to improve their yields and quality.
