- Preparing and testing medium: different culture media used.
- Subculture and maintain cells.
- Counting cells.
- Viability: trypan blue.
- Cryopreservation, thawing cells, viability.
- Growth curve.
- Test the seeding density and concentration of MTT, DMSO.
- Microphotography.
- MTT assay with toxin.

Workshop :
A one week Animal Cell Culture course
is organized every other year. Five 3-hour lectures are presented
in the morning covering a wide variety of cell culture topics
with the aim of giving basic culture protocols, highlighting potential
problems and offering possible solutions. In the afternoon guest
speakers are invited to give detailed information about specific
aspects of cell culture in research.
