business002NSTDA Technology Management Center (TMC) implements several mechanisms to promote development of high-tech business and commercialization of research results. These are: 
  • Technology Licensing Office (TLO) is responsible for licensing of the intellectual property resulting from NSTDA researchers and NSTDA research fund. Click here to view available technologies for licensing.
  • NSTDA Investment Center (NIC) is responsible for promoting investment in science and technology by co-investing in a joint venture or a spin-off company with the ultimate goal of benefiting Thailand’s economy and society. NIC currently invests in eight companies:
  • Industrial Technology Assistance Program (iTAP) assists local enterprises to meet the challenges in introducing technology-based products and processes. iTAP services include: industrial consultancy services; technical training and seminars; techno-business matching; technology acquisition; provision of industrial and technology information; and linkage to other industrial service organizations.
  • NSTDA Company Directed Technology Development Program (CD) provides financial support in the form of low-interest loans to industrial operators who want to do research and development in order to develop new products, improve manufacturing processes, set up a laboratory, conduct reverse engineering and commercialize research breakthroughs.
  • NSTDA-University-Industry Research Collaboration (NUI-RC) is a program providing graduate scholarships to a student whose work is a collaborative research between academic and industry.
