The committee will solicit oral and poster submissions from 15 May until 15 September 2025. Both oral and poster presentations will be reviewed by the committee for acceptance in the program relevant to the following sub-themes.
- Sub-theme 1: Identifying and mitigating future food safety risks
- Sub-theme 2: Building the global food authenticity community
- Sub-theme 3: Supporting future food safety policies for the developing world
You can submit ONLY an abstract if you merely want to publish an abstract. However, if you want to publish the full paper, you are required to submit the full manuscript for consideration. Authors who submit full papers to the conference may choose to submit them for consideration in the Songklanakarin Journal of Science and Technology (SJST) with no additional publication fee.
Since we will NOT be editing abstracts and full papers, please remember to fully edit and carefully prove your content before submitting. Abstracts must be in final form with no grammatical, typographical, or factual errors.
The number of acceptances for oral presentations will be limited. However, there is NO limit to the number of poster submissions. A single registration can ONLY cover “ONE” oral presentation or “ONE” poster. Also, specifying a preference between oral or poster does NOT guarantee placement in that area. The final presentation type will be determined by the committee.
All submissions will be reviewed for acceptance as they come in with notifications of acceptance being e-mailed to the presenter (as designated on the abstract submission form). Notification of acceptance will be e-mailed to the presenters by 30 September 2025.
Every presenter of the oral or poster presentation must make the payment by 15 October 2025 otherwise the abstract and full paper will be withdrawn.
Please READ the submission guidelines before submitting the abstract and full paper.
Submission guidelines:
All submitted abstracts and full papers will be in a process of peer review. It is the responsibility of the author to follow the instructions restrictively. For those who do not want to publish the full paper, please submit ONLY the abstract. However, for those who want to publish the full paper, you are required to submit the full paper at once.
1 Authors’ responsibilities
- All submitted abstracts and full papers must be in good, grammatically correct English. Authors are fully responsible for the correction of language.
- Major corrections cannot be undertaken by the committee, and no proof is provided.
2 Submission of abstract and full paper
- Authors must acknowledge that at least one author of the accepted abstract and full paper is required to register for the conference and remit the registration fee. A single registration can cover one abstract or one full paper.
- Abstract and full paper should be provided in electronic form and uploaded to the online system via the conference website. The format should be complied with the following basic instructions. To avoid any mistakes, the TEMPLATE OF ABSTRACT (.docx) (.pdf), and the TEMPLATE OF FULL PAPER (.docx) (.pdf) are suggested
- File formats: You are required to provide us with the preferred format for electronic versions of both Microsoft Word and PDF, though we can accept most other word-processing packages in PC or Macintosh formats.
- File naming: When naming files, it is recommended that you incorporate the name of the first author or the paper’s reference numbers into the filename. Please do not use generic names such as “ASEANSafe2025 Papers Submission” or similar easily confused variants.
- For those who choose to submit the full paper to the Songklanakarin Journal of Science and Technology (SJST), all submitted manuscripts will undergo a peer-review process in accordance with the journal’s editorial policies. Accepted papers will be published in STSJ, providing international visibility and contributing to the advancement of science and technology.
