scholarship from the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA). She joined BIOTEC as a researcher in 2000 and was later appointed Director of the Functional Ingredients and Food Innovation Research Group in 2019.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Dr. Laoteng\u2019s expertise lies in fermentation and bioprocessing technologies, and microbial lipid metabolism. She possesses over 20 patents, petty patents, and prototypes and publishes more than 50 papers in international, peer-reviewed journals.
