from\u00a0University of Cambridge in 2004.\u00a0He started working as a researcher at the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) in 2004.\u00a0 He became the Head of Genomic Research Lab in 2007, the director of Genome Technology Research Unit in 2016 and the director of National Omics Center in 2019. Sithichoke was appointed Deputy Executive Director of BIOTEC in 2024. His expertise covers Plant Molecular Biology and Genomics.
