Bangkok, 8 August 2023 \u2013 The National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC) extends warmest congratulations to Dr. Kallaya Sritunyalucksana-Dangtip on the remarkable achievement of securing funding from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). This funding underscores Dr. Sritunyalucksana-Dangtip’s project entitle “Exploitation of Viral Accommodation Mechanism to Control Viral Disease in Shrimp”–a groundbreaking work in advancing disease control in shrimp aquaculture. NRCT, in collaboration with the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), organizes this funding grant to pioneering research that addresses economic challenges and underscores the critical importance of developing innovative strategies to safeguard the broader sustainability goals of Thailand.
\nThe award was presented by Prof. Dr. Yongyuth Yuthavong, Former Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand and Chairman of the National Committee on High-potential Research Team Grant Program during Thailand Research Expo 2023 at the Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld. Additionally,Mr. Sompratana Suktawee
