Funded by Australia\u2019s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), this collaboration is set to run for 3 years.<\/strong><\/p><p>On December 3, 2024, the project agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Sukit Limpijumnong, President of NSTDA; Dr. Mingkwan Supanpong, Director of the GPO; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, President of KMUTT; and Prof. Dr. Susie Nilsson, Research Director of the Biomedical Manufacturing Program at CSIRO. The signing ceremony, held at the Australian Ambassador\u2019s Residence in Bangkok, was witnessed by Dr. Angela Macdonald, Australian Ambassador to Thailand, and Prof. Emeritus Dr. Yongyuth Yuthavong, Chairman of KMUTT Council and Senior Advisor to BIOTEC.<\/p><p>The event was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chaowaree Adthalungrong, Executive Director of BIOTEC; Dr. Kobkul Laoteng, Acting Deputy Executive Director for R&amp;D in Industry; Dr. Sithichoke Tangphatsornruang, Acting Deputy Executive Director for R&amp;D in Agriculture; and Asst. The initiative will support the production of biologics, including cancer treatments and antiviral drugs, fostering local expertise and self-reliance in the pharmaceutical
