ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION

The organizing committee will solicit E-Poster submissions for the conference from 1 December 2021 until 28 February 2022. E-Poster presentations will be reviewed by the scientific committee for acceptance in the program relevant to “Health and disease management in aquaculture

In addition, the committee will select appropriate abstracts from all submissions for a short 3-minute oral presentation called ‘Poster Pitching’. You can indicate your intention to participate in this poster pitching when you register. Please note that specifying poster pitching as a preference does not guarantee placement in that category. The final presentation format will be determined by the scientific committee.

Since we will NOT be editing all abstracts, so please remember to fully edit and carefully proof your content before submitting it. Abstracts must be in final form with no grammatical, typographical, or factual errors.

As they come in, all submissions will be reviewed for acceptance, and acceptance notifications will be emailed to the presenter (as designated on the abstract submission form). Acceptance will be emailed to the presenter and posted on the Aqua-Thailand website on 4 March 2022. Every accepted E-Poster presentation presenter must make the payment by 10 March 2022, or their abstract will be withdrawn from the conference.

BEFORE SUBMITTING AN ABSTRACT, PLEASE READ THE SUBMITTING GUIDELINES

Abstract Submission Guidelines
These instructions are provided to help authors prepare ABSTRACT for submission to the conference. All submitted papers will be in a process of peer review and all accepted papers for either e-poster presentation or poster pitching will be distributed to the participants at the conference on an electronic data. It is the responsibility of author to follow the instructions restrictively. The TEMPLATE OF ABSTRACT is provided and could be downloaded from www.biotec.or.th/aqua-thailand.

1. Authors’ responsibilities
1.1 All submitted ABSTRACT must be in good, grammatically correct English. Authors are fully responsible for the correction of language.

1.2 Major corrections cannot be undertaken by the committee, and no proofs are provided.

2. SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACT
2.1 ABSTRACT SUBMISSION system is now available. Submitting authors must acknowledge that at least one author of accepted ABSTRACT has to register with Aqua-Thailand conference and remit the registration fee. A single registration can cover one abstract.

2.2. ABSTRACTS should be provided in electronic form and uploaded to our online submission website.  The format should be complied with the following basic instructions. To avoid any mistake, the TEMPLATE OF ABSTRACT is suggested.

2.3. File formats. You are required to provide us the preferred format for electronic versions of both Microsoft Word and PDF, though we can accept most other word-processing packages in PC or Macintosh formats.

2.4. File naming: When naming files it is recommended that you incorporate the name of the first author or the paper’s reference numbers into the filename. Please do not use generic names such as “Aqua-Thailand paper” or similar easily confused variants.

3. ABSTRACT FORMAT
3.1 Page Size:
The page size MUST be set to A4 on “Page Setup” of your Word screen for example. This template places all material in a rectangle of 21 cm x 29.7 cm (8.27″x11.69″), beginning 1.25 cm (0.49″) and heading 1.25 cm (0.49″) from the top and the footer of the page.  The page must be formatted using 2.54 (1.0″) margins.

3.2 Font type and text size:
– Font type: Cambria
– Title:  – 14pt. bold and align left
             – Use a capital letter at the first word only except the specific name.
– Authors’ name: regular and aligned left, with the name of presenting author bold and underlined.
– Address: Italic and align left
– Text and keywords: justified

3.4 The maximum acceptable length of ABSTRACT is 500 words.

3.5 Keyword:
3–6 keywords (in alphabetical order) which will enable a subsequent information retrieval system to locate the paper.

4. Nomenclature and Units
4.1 Please take care that all terminology and notation used will be widely understood. Abbreviations and acronyms should be spelled out in full at their first occurrence in the text.

4.2 SI units are strongly recommended.

E-Poster Guidelines
There are 2 types of E-Poster presentations:
1. E-Poster without a voice recording presentation The posters will be electronically uploaded and will be available for viewing in the E-poster stations. There is no designated time for a presentation.
2. E-Poster including a voice recording presentation –The posters will be electronically uploaded, along with a voice recording presentation, and will be available for viewing in the E-poster stations. There is no designated time for the presentation.

Either E-posters or voice recording presentations must be sent to AQUA-THAILAND Secretariat by 14 March 2022 to prepare to upload in the E-poster stations.

The files format should be complied with the following basic instructions.
Portrait Format, Single-Page
– It must contain the title, authors’ name and address, objectives, materials and methods, summary, results and conclusion in the form of figures, graphs, tables, etc.
