On 16 December 2022, Mr. Suriyan Vichitlekarn, Executive Director of Mekong Institute (MI), and Mr. Robby Rosandi, Project Manager of MI, visited BIOTEC to discuss our existing collaboration on the development of cassava value chain in the Mekong Region. Potential collaboration in modern agriculture, diagnostic technologies for agriculture and food were explored. BIOTEC also presented our research on breeding technology platforms for Thailand’s economically important crops and food and feed innovative research platform and showcased our facilities, including monoclonal antibody production (diagnostic applications for agriculture), Plant Factory (precision vertical farming), and Food and Feed Innovation Center.
