BIOTEC researcher to represent Thailand at the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting

Dr.Thanathom ChailangkarnDr. Thanathom Chailangkarn, Researcher from Virology and Cell Technology Laboratory, has been selected to participate in the 68th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting to be held on 24-29 June 2018 in Germany. He is among six young scientists representing Thailand at the prestigious event next year with the sponsorship from NSTDA.

The Nobel Laureate Meetings at Lindau is an annual scientific conference held in Lindau, Germany, inviting Nobel prize winners to present to and interact with young researchers from all over the world.  It was the initiative of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to provide opportunities to science students and young scientists from Thailand to experience such a rare event and get inspired by meeting with Nobel laureates. NSTDA therefore established a sponsorship program to support the attendance of selected group of Thai students and researchers in the Meeting. The 68th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting will be dedicated to physiology and medicine.
