On December 13, 2023, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Yongyuth Yuthavong, Thailand’s malaria expert, witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NSTDA and Mahidol University. The MoU solidifies their joint efforts to advance P218 as the first antimalarial drug in developing countries. Dr. Somboon Sahasithiwat, Executive Vice President of NSTDA, and Prof. Dr. Banjong Mahai-viriya, Rector of Mahidol University, represented NSTDA and Mahidol University, respectively at the Press Conference room of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innavation (MHESI), Bangkok, Thailand.
